Delicious Cheese scone! Go's deliciously well with a bolognese!

Necessary
 200 g Self-raising flour
 50 g Butter
 125 ml Milk
 50 g grated cheese
 1 tsp Mixed herbs
Optional (Pick one)
 3 Rashes of bacon
 2 tbsp Black olives
 2 tbsp Sundried tomatoes
 3 Slices of ham

Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas mark 7.

Cover a baking tray with parchment.

Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl and using clean fingertips, rub the butter into the flour so it resembles breadcrumbs, try not to let the mix touch your palms, this will prevent it from forming a dough.

Stir in the cheese, herbs and your choice of flavouring with a table knife, then add three tablespoons of milk.

Stir, then add 1 tablespoon of milk. repeat these two simple steps until you run out of milk. Spread out the dough onto your baking papered tray to a thickness of approximately 1.5 centimeters.

Score lightly with a table knife into sixths. Brush over with some leftover milk and place in the oven for 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
